Work Environment

Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts to support our patients' needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with their healthcare providers.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress towards healing goals.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly, ensuring compliance with both state regulations and organizational standards for record-keeping.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, fostering an environment of learning and development.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, including collaborations with physicians, nurses, and case managers.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and techniques to deliver effective treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team primarily serves a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and various physical impairments. Our goal is to tailor each therapy session to the unique needs of individuals across all age groups, ensuring personalized care that promotes rehabilitation and functional recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Strong foundational knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic medical record systems, showcasing organizational skills in managing patient data.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates with a strong passion for patient care are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
