Position Overview

Hope Medical Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clinical team in Buffalo, New York. This full-time role, stationed onsite at our state-of-the-art Surgical Center, involves a dynamic rotation through outpatient radiology, inpatient care, and post-procedure follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a three-week rotation that encompasses one week of outpatient care, one week of inpatient care, and one week dedicated to post-procedure follow-ups.
• Manage a caseload of 8-17 patients per day while inpatient, involving rounded examinations, new consults, and follow-ups on previous consultations.
• Conduct 50% of clinic visits independently and 50% alongside supervising physicians, including new patient intakes, pre-procedure assessments, and follow-up appointments—currently conducted virtually.
• Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic health concerns, providing both immediate and long-term care plans.
• Perform thorough patient evaluations, obtaining comprehensive medical histories and executing relevant physical examinations to identify normal and abnormal findings.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests while coordinating additional services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing interventions as required.
• Secure informed consent from patients prior to services, ensuring clear communication regarding procedures and interventions.
• Assist supervising physicians in the operating room and support investigative studies approved by the Investigational Review Board (IRB) when directed.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission requirements and uphold the highest standards of ethical treatment, including respect for cultural diversity and patient rights.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population, managing individuals with complex health needs related to interventional radiology. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant and eligibility for state licensure in New York.
• Proficient in patient assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and care planning.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills and dedication to providing exemplary patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in interventional radiology or similar clinical settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with telemedicine practices and virtual patient consultations.
• Background in inpatient and outpatient care models.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
