Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will take on a variety of responsibilities including:

• Conducting thorough assessments for new clients and developing individualized treatment plans based on those evaluations.

• Providing ongoing counseling and therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their mental health goals.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of clinical notes, progress updates, and treatment interventions in accordance with departmental guidelines.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to shape the overall treatment strategy and ensuring effective discharge planning for clients.

• Managing crisis situations by providing immediate therapeutic support and resources to clients facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Engaging with clients' families and support networks to facilitate comprehensive treatment planning and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will entail direct interaction with a diverse range of clients, including those facing dual diagnoses, which may involve mental health disorders alongside substance use issues. By employing a non-judgmental and empowering approach, you will help clients navigate their various challenges, working towards achieving personal fulfillment and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A/c Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current active licenses such as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW are required.
\n
• Exceptional computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic health records, and various communication tools.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, showcasing strong organizational and self-management skills.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in an outpatient setting is essential for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in community health clinics or those who have worked with dual-diagnosed clients will be given preference. Experience in using specific therapeutic modalities or interventions is also valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
