Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mountain Springs Wellness & Counseling Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with primary care providers to identify and manage mental health and psychosocial issues, actively contributing to the primary care team.

• Conducting thorough patient intakes with a focus on diagnostic and functional evaluations, making informed recommendations regarding treatment goals and plans.
\n
• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions for patients seeking mental health services.
\n
• Advising primary care providers on patient referrals to specialty mental health facilities when necessary to ensure optimal care.
\n
• Initiating follow-up strategies to monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches as needed.
\n
• Developing relapse prevention plans with patients to help maintain stable functioning and prevent deterioration of their mental health.
\n
• Documenting patient assessments, progress, and diagnostic information meticulously in treatment charts.
\n
• Keeping abreast of patient needs and collaborating with primary care providers to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Delivering educational information and self-management skills to empower patients as active participants in their treatment.
\n
• Acting as a consultant to clinic management and other team members on behavioral services and program evaluations.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

• Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, developmental psychopathology, and family therapy methodologies.

• Familiarity with DSM-IV diagnoses and a solid understanding of behavioral therapy techniques.

• Ability to evaluate individual patient needs and tailor care and services accordingly.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a rewarding salary, our organization provides:
