Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to identify mental health needs and collaboratively develop effective treatment plans for clients.

• Provide individual counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the diverse mental health challenges faced by our client population.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and workshops that address common issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress management among clients.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, psychiatrists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care and support services.

• Implement outreach programs aimed at increasing awareness of mental health resources within the community, promoting wellness events and educational workshops.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring timely documentation of client progress and session notes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist in our Community Health Clinic, you will provide support to a varied patient population, including individuals across different age groups facing mental health challenges. Our clients may include children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds, each presenting with unique issues that require tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Strong understanding of the mental health issues prevalent in the community and demonstrated ability to address the challenges faced by clients.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and community partners.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Compensation and Benefits\n
