Key Responsibilities Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine their mental health status and needs. Creating tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based methodologies, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Engaging in regular therapeutic sessions with clients, providing them with strategies and tools to cope with their challenges. Monitoring progress through session notes and regular follow-ups, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborating with other healthcare providers such as psychiatrists and primary care doctors to deliver a comprehensive care approach. Participating in team meetings and consultations to discuss client progress and share insights on treatment enhancements. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a varied patient population that includes individuals dealing with complex mental health issues ranging from acute conditions to chronic mental health disorders. This includes but is not limited to clients suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and substance use issues. Your cultural competence and understanding of diverse backgrounds will be vital in delivering effective care tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will possess: A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid LMFT , LPCC , or LCSW license within the state of California. A minimum of two years of related clinical experience in mental health counseling. A deep understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches. Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations. Excellent communication skills coupled with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates with: Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, particularly with culturally responsive and inclusive approaches. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications. Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and upholding ethical guidelines, ensuring client confidentiality at all times. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
