Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to establish personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health aspects.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records to ensure compliance with all ethical and legal guidelines, while prioritizing the confidentiality and safety of client information.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health by engaging in relevant continuous education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied clientele including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing diverse challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations for counseling practice.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse clientele and build therapeutic rapport.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant technology for practice management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on caseload and experience.
