Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, which provides flexibility in your working hours while remaining integrated into our supportive outpatient team. Our work schedule typically spans Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential flexibility based on client needs. You will engage with a diverse group of healthcare professionals through virtual meetings, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive treatment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients’ unique needs and create individualized treatment plans that promote progress.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, in both individual and group settings.
\n
• Lead psychoeducational groups designed to foster community support and discuss prevalent mental health topics and coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, offering stabilization and support during critical moments.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources to facilitate recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and contribute actively in team meetings and professional development initiatives.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and methodologies in mental health to enhance the effectiveness of your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our clinic, you will work with a diverse client population. We serve individuals from various backgrounds facing a range of mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and a solid grounding in evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and designing effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.
\n
• Experience in delivering therapeutic services to a variety of populations and demographic groups.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate collaboration and rapport with clients and colleagues.

• Robust ethical judgment and adherence to professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.

• A proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

• Experience in crisis intervention and managing mental health emergencies.

• Prior work experience in outpatient settings and leading therapeutic groups is highly desirable.
