Kids Peace Wellness Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team on a full-time basis in a remote telehealth setting. Work Environment\n

This is a remote telehealth position, allowing you to deliver therapy from a location of your choice in Edison, New Jersey, while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. We operate on a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, ensuring that you can focus on delivering exceptional care without the distraction of extensive paperwork.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address a range of mental health conditions.

• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring the protection of client information.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to create integrated care approaches tailored to each client.

• Participate in regular peer consultations and clinical review meetings to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, equipping them to support their loved ones effectively.

• Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the mental health field, applying new knowledge to practice to improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Kids Peace Wellness Center, you will work primarily with children, adolescents, and their families who are facing various mental health challenges. You will provide compassionate support to help clients navigate issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders. Your role will be pivotal in guiding clients and their families toward sustainable recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Demonstrated ability to implement solution-based psychotherapy interventions tailored to individual client needs.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
