This position is primarily remote, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal life, yet you will also have access to our outpatient office for in-person sessions and team meetings as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of symptoms related to mood disorders, developing a comprehensive understanding of each client's unique situation.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive changes in clients' mental health.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to ensure responsive and effective care.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health management.

• Remain informed about the latest developments in mental health treatments and research, integrating new knowledge into practice for improved client outcomes.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with both legal and ethical guidelines, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and session details accurately.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs by contributing to the de-stigmatization movement surrounding mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will engage with a diverse clientele, requiring sensitivity to different cultural backgrounds and personal experiences. Your expertise will help clients navigate their challenges, fostering recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based therapies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and proficiency in coordinating care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes with mood disorder clients.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
