Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients to understand their mental health needs and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique backgrounds, ensuring alignment with best practices and evidence-based methodologies.

• Facilitate therapy sessions through video conferencing tools, providing consistent and meaningful support to clients of various ages and backgrounds.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal mental health outcomes.

• Maintain accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and data security.

• Engage in ongoing training and education to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and improve service offerings.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals within the organization to review cases, share insights, and provide comprehensive care to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Clients may present with various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Our therapist practices a holistic approach, considering social, cultural, and environmental factors that impact clients' mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont is mandatory.

• Demonstration of proficiency in applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, or similar methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport and trust with clients and collaborating with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
