Work Environment

This position is tailored for therapists who thrive in an onsite Home Care setting, interacting with patients within their everyday environments. You will work closely with patients of all ages, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, providing critical rehabilitation services in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of patients presenting a variety of injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
• Utilize a diverse array of physical therapy procedures and modalities to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Educate patients and caregivers on effective rehabilitation techniques and self-management strategies, fostering confidence and independence in their recovery journeys.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for all patient interactions, complying with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Oversee the workflow of support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, ensuring high-quality service delivery throughout patient interactions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and continuing education sessions to stay updated with best practices and emerging trends in physical therapy.
• Contribute to the operational aspects of the department, including assisting in assessing supplies, equipment, and departmental budgets.

• Utilize rehabilitation services effectively to promote optimal patient outcomes, ensuring a responsive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be entrusted with providing care to a wide range of populations, from neonates requiring early intervention services to geriatric patients facing complex rehabilitation needs. Your expertise will enable you to tailor treatments that address individual conditions, ensuring that each patient receives the support necessary for their unique journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, coupled with the ability to establish effective treatment plans.
• Proficient understanding of rehabilitation techniques and practices with diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will possess specialized skills relevant to the home care setting, including experience with equipment used for home therapy, knowledge of regulatory compliance standards, and familiarity with billing processes. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
