Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and rehabilitation needs, formulating treatment plans that address individual goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modality techniques, to improve patients' mobility and relieve pain.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and documentation, adapting treatment plans in response to changes in patient status or recovery goals.
• Educate patients and their families about specific conditions, therapeutic exercises, and safe use of any prescribed assistive devices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to enhance patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, participating in training programs, and staying current with industry standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to elderly individuals, each presenting unique rehabilitation challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients recover from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and overall functional limitations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
