Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that encompass the unique challenges and goals of each client.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary health care team to coordinate patient care, including contributing to discharge planning and ongoing treatment evaluations.

• Provide crisis intervention services and counseling to patients experiencing acute emotional or behavioral difficulties, utilizing evidence-based strategies.

• Build and maintain productive relationships with community resource leaders and participate in relevant committee meetings to advocate for the social needs of our patients.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, in compliance with departmental policies.

• Utilize digital tools for tracking client engagement, outcomes, and assessment metrics to inform treatment approaches and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use issues. MindShift Behavioral Health is particularly committed to reaching underserved populations, providing compassionate care to individuals who may have faced barriers to accessing traditional mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license in the state of Oregon as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, with demonstrated expertise in therapeutic practices.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of mental health theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to patients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in crisis intervention, group therapy facilitation, or specialized certifications in trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling. Familiarity with the social service landscape in Oregon and existing resources for patient referrals will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
