Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique emotional and behavioral needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, such as progress notes and treatment plans, using our electronic medical records system to comply with organizational policies.
• Engage in effective communication with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to report patient progress, identify concerning trends, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support for clients experiencing acute mental health issues, helping them navigate challenging situations with care and professionalism.
• Assist in discharge planning by coordinating care and connecting clients with community resources that support their ongoing recovery post-treatment.
• Consult and collaborate with family members and support systems to enhance treatment effectiveness and build a strong support network for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Our outpatient clinic serves individuals and families from many backgrounds, and as an LMFT at Clarity Wellness Center, your role will be crucial in providing culturally competent and compassionate support tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is mandatory for this position, along with a valid LMFT license to practice in California.
• At least 3-4 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is required, showcasing your ability to work with a diverse client demographic.
• Proficiency in technology, including knowledge of electronic medical records, word processing, spreadsheets, and email communication.
• The ideal candidate will be self-directed, highly organized, and able to work independently while managing a caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community health setting or with interdisciplinary teams is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

Clarity Wellness Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
