Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews, documenting client cases comprehensively from the initial consultation through the entire treatment journey.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews, providing a detailed analysis of their needs.

• Develop individualized and group treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based strategies.
\n
• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques to foster healing, support self-discovery, and enhance coping strategies.

• Monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment plan, adjusting therapeutic methods as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to create holistic intervention plans that address clients' overall well-being.

• Follow up with healthcare providers regarding medication efficacy and side effects for clients with complex mental health needs.

• Identify at-risk behaviors that hinder recovery and provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being.

• Support family members and primary caregivers by offering guidance on managing challenges associated with their loved one's mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Your ability to empathize and connect with clients is critical, as each person's journey is unique. By employing culturally responsive practices, you will help clients navigate their challenges, leading them towards a path of healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in good standing as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Experience in a therapeutic setting, showcasing your familiarity with clinical practices and principles.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in treating clients with complex mental health issues, including co-occurring physical and mental health conditions.

• Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities and mental health interventions.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey ideas clearly and effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus to attract dedicated professionals.
