Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions through our telehealth platform. Our telehealth facility is equipped with the latest technology, facilitating seamless communication between therapists and clients. You will have access to a range of resources and support systems, enabling you to provide effective care in a virtual environment. A typical workweek will consist of a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions suited to individual backgrounds, utilizing modalities that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addressing mental health concerns, enhancing coping strategies, and promoting resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and effective treatment coordination.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, using strong assessment skills to determine the best course of action.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, fostering understanding of treatment options and community resources efficiently.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient documentation in adherence with legal and ethical guidelines using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you serve will primarily consist of individuals from multicultural backgrounds facing various mental health challenges, encompassing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other psychosocial issues. You will play a vital role in empowering clients to navigate their emotional landscapes and work towards achieving their personal and mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or clinical psychologist.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, treatment approaches, and cultural responsiveness in therapy.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy in a way that honors cultural diversity and inclusion.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
