Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological well-being of patients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews to determine accurate diagnoses.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, documenting goals, expected outcomes, and therapeutic techniques employed.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, maximizing patient engagement and effectiveness.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that address emotional concerns, enhance coping skills, and promote personal growth among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and various healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated and holistic approach to patient care that includes medication management and community resources.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing strong crisis resolution skills to de-escalate potentially harmful situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with information and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations, ensuring that patient records are thorough and up-to-date.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
