Counseling sessions will be held via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their unique circumstances and mental health needs. Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy, tailoring treatment to the specific needs identified in assessments. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing, individual treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop crisis intervention and relapse prevention plans, as well as wellness plans to foster healthy living and stable functioning for our clients. Create comprehensive discharge plans that empower clients to transition smoothly from therapeutic services back into the community. Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, maintaining ethical standards in all professional interactions. Engage in continuous training and education to enhance professional competence and stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices. Participate actively in agency meetings and case consultations to contribute to an cohesive care team focused on collaborative patient outcomes. Complete all mandatory training and licensure maintenance as required for continued practice in California. Qualifications A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field, which qualifies for licensure. Licensure is imperative; candidates must hold an active LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW designation in the state of California. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly with culturally diverse populations is advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote therapy sessions. Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary treatment team and to engage with community resources effectively. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and licensure.
