Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary interviews and intake assessments to gather relevant client information from the first consultation through the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health by utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.
\n
• Design individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy workshops, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue and healing.
\n
• Track and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including social workers, psychiatrists, and physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.

• Identify behaviors that hinder recovery and work proactively to address any barriers to treatment.

• Offer guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers to enhance the overall approach to managing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population encompasses a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• Education: Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Assessment Scores: A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of previous experience working as a mental health counselor.

• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for efficient documentation and client tracking.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to effectively connect with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients experiencing co-occurring disorders, including addiction and mental illness.

• Advanced knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and regulations.

• In-depth understanding of the implications of psychotropic medications prescribed by medical professionals and their effects on mental health.

• Background in family systems therapy and experience working with diverse family dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n
