Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the mental health status of clients and provide diagnoses based on standardized criteria.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Center Mind, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals dealing with substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of various mental health conditions and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on cultural considerations and individual client needs. You will be instrumental in helping clients overcome obstacles to improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid, current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• A strong foundation in various evidence-based treatment modalities and their application in practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to establish trust and rapport with diverse clientele.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
