Work Environment

Located onsite within our well-equipped hospital facility, the role of Urgent Care Physician Assistant involves working closely with a cohesive team of healthcare professionals who prioritize excellent patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic evaluations to effectively determine patient needs.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique situation, enhancing their overall health outcomes.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and interventions under the supervision and guidance of attending physicians, adhering to the highest standards of care.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of each patient encounter, treatment decisions, and follow-up care protocols.
• Educate patients on their medical conditions, treatment alternatives, and lifestyle modifications aimed at promoting wellness and preventing future health issues.
• Engage in patient follow-ups to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be instrumental in managing urgent health issues, acute injuries, and chronic illness exacerbations while also focusing on preventative health measures.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, enabling effective patient interaction and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
