Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a manageable caseload of youth clients, establishing rapport and fostering trusting relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to discuss their progress, evaluate their mental health status, and address any concerns, ensuring a holistic approach to their treatment.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Documenting all interactions, updates, and progress in accordance with professional standards, ensuring that client records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Conducting thorough intake assessments to determine the appropriate level of care and treatment direction for new clients.

• Participating in weekly individual supervision sessions to reflect on clinical practices and receive constructive feedback for professional growth.

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create a coordinated care plan that addresses the physical and mental health needs of clients.

• Maintaining a growth mindset, remaining open to learning and the evolution of clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth clients, addressing their unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and emotional disturbances. By utilizing evidence-based practices, you will work to empower clients and their families, helping them navigate their mental health journeys and achieve sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• Ability to meet all internal credentialing requirements necessary for clinical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals dealing with substance use issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
