Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide on-site clinical counseling services to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges.

• Conduct regular check-ins and assess the mental health needs of clients within the school environment, adapting interventions as necessary.

• Engage in timely, professional communications with clients, families, educators, and multidisciplinary treatment teams to optimize care.

• Serve as a vital resource for colleagues, offering clinical insights and support on complex cases, and providing clinical supervision when required.

• Document all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment strategies accurately to maintain high standards of client care and comply with regulatory requirements.

• Ensure patient files remain organized, updated, and reflective of each client's progress and therapeutic journey.

• Design and facilitate training sessions for school staff on mental health awareness and intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a diverse population of students, ranging from elementary to high school, who present a variety of mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. By employing a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, you will work to foster a supportive environment for students, helping them to navigate their emotional landscapes and develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
