Key Responsibilities\n

• Direct and facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups aimed at addressing various mental health issues among students.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Engage in crisis management during therapy sessions, employing de-escalation techniques to ensure safety and stability for all participants.
\n
• Collaborate with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding authorization and payment procedures for services rendered.
\n
• Initiate and coordinate discharge planning from the first day of service, ensuring students and families understand treatment progress and available resources.
\n
• Maintain consistent communication with referral sources and outpatient providers throughout the treatment process to promote continuity of care.
\n
• Facilitate patient transitions to higher levels of care when necessary, assuring a seamless process for all parties involved.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical outreach initiatives to enhance community awareness and understanding of the services offered.
\n
• Support and coach school staff in their interactions with students and families to foster a collaborative approach to mental health care.
\n
• Complete all required documentation, including initial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical progress notes, in a timely and organized manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on students within the school system who may be facing emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a variety of issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral disorders. As an LCSW, you will play a critical role in supporting these young individuals in navigating their challenges and achieving academic and personal success.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is mandatory.

• Must hold a current, independent license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
