Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments through evidence-based screenings and detailed evaluations to identify the mental health needs of students.

• Collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and other mental health professionals to develop and implement integrated care plans tailored to each student’s unique situation.

• Engage with students in both structured and unstructured settings to build rapport, providing brief therapeutic interventions that focus on prevention and recovery.

• Monitor and manage a caseload, ensuring timely documentation and compliance with standards of care, including assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up notes.

• Actively participate in team meetings and committees to contribute to service delivery improvements and quality enhancement initiatives within the agency.

• Support crisis intervention efforts when necessary, utilizing strong assessment and crisis management skills to ensure client safety.

• Identify and report any unsafe situations or behaviors, taking immediate action to maintain a safe environment for all students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of students facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related concerns. Your role will involve understanding and addressing the unique developmental needs of each child or adolescent you serve, taking into consideration their cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required, with licensure as an LCSW in the state of California.

• Strong expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions, accompanied by exceptional communication and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in navigating the complexities of school systems and external resources.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
