Work Environment

Working onsite at our Mesquite rehabilitation center, you will collaborate closely with a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a supportive and fast-paced clinic. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to serve patients effectively. As we experience increased patient demand, your role will be crucial in delivering personalized care and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess patients' objectives, needs, and limitations in a healthcare setting, ensuring individualized treatment plans are developed.
• Manage a caseload of two patients per hour, delivering efficient and effective therapy while maintaining high standards of care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide personalized physical therapy interventions, focusing on enhancing motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs to address the unique needs of each patient, promoting recovery and injury prevention.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment phases, monitoring their progress and adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, enhancing communication and treatment effectiveness.
• Assess treatment effectiveness, providing feedback to patients and adjusting care plans based on their progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters primarily to patients with orthopedic needs, commonly involving post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports-related injuries. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from athletes seeking to regain peak performance to seniors aiming to enhance their daily functional abilities. Your role will be vital in guiding these patients towards achieving their rehabilitation goals through tailored, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• Clean record with no instances of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in manual therapy techniques and exercise regimen development.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to ensure efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of patient evaluation and treatment methodologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation plans that address a broad spectrum of physical impairments.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
