Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations, to develop personalized treatment plans that address specific orthopedic issues.

• Implement effective physical therapy interventions, utilizing various techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to optimize patient recovery.

• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans in response to their evolving needs, ensuring that therapeutic goals are achieved successfully.

• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, therapeutic exercises, and self-management strategies to enhance recovery and prevent re-injury.

• Supervise and mentor rehabilitation assistants and technicians, promoting a culture of learning and professional development within the team.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records as per legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.

• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and institutional goals, contributing to a cohesive operational framework.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a wide range of patients, from adolescents to seniors, who present with various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, fractures, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of care for these patients, helping them regain mobility, strength, and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nevada.

• Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of orthopedic physical therapy principles and clinical practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
