In this full-time role based in Mesquite, Nevada, you will be entrusted with enhancing patients' quality of life through specialized care in a rehabilitation center setting. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center is designed to provide a supportive and collaborative environment where therapists can thrive. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' physical condition, ensuring treatment plans are tailored to individual needs.
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and other modalities aimed at optimizing patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment protocols as necessary, and ensuring effective communication with both patients and their families.
• Provide education on injury prevention and self-care strategies, empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Actively participate in peer collaborations, contributing to our positive clinic culture focused on continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is primarily comprised of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and conditions that impact mobility and physical function. As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will engage with patients of all ages, crafting rehabilitation experiences that cater to their specific needs. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping them regain strength, mobility, and self-confidence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates with a Doctorate or Master's degree will be preferred.
• A current or eligible license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada is mandatory.
• Demonstrated interest or background in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation is essential.
• Exceptional communication and time management skills are required to effectively interact with patients and manage caseload.
• If you hold an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification, or have an interest in pursuing it, this would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with manual therapy techniques or dry needling will be considered a strong asset.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred to ensure proficient handling of diverse cases.
• Experience in developing patient-centric treatment plans and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings will be beneficial.
• Previous exposure to rehabilitation best practices or working with specialized patient populations will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

True North Medical Institute offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses and incentive pay based on tenure and patient engagement metrics.
