The Mobile Physical Therapist position at Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center entails working onsite in various home care environments. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality direct physical therapy services to patients in their homes, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and overall wellness.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care, particularly during instances of staff absence or high patient volume.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, pain management strategies, and effective injury prevention methods.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Mentor and support new staff or interns within their training and development.
• Travel to various clinic locations throughout Nevada as needed, with reimbursement for mileage and travel expenses.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will cater to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic conditions, and patients requiring rehabilitation following sports injuries. You will work with adults of various ages, tailoring treatments to their unique needs and circumstances, fostering improvements in their quality of life and functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) in the state of Nevada.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy practice, ideally in outpatient settings.
• Flexibility and an eagerness to work in various home settings and clinic environments.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and treat a broad spectrum of physical conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Self-motivated and capable of adapting quickly to new environments and changing patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports therapy is a plus, but not mandatory.
