Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing a variety of assessment tools to determine their physical capabilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans, focused on achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize innovative therapeutic techniques and modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to facilitate recovery.
• Educate and instruct patients on proper movement mechanics, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to track patient progress, modifying goals and treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preferred educational background exceeding this level.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Nevada.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic evaluation and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Experience with sport-specific rehabilitation is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document and track patient progress.
