Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance, with operational hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. You will leverage telehealth tools and platforms to engage with clients effectively, maintaining the highest standards of care in a digital environment. Our supportive administrative team will assist with scheduling and client services to enhance your efficiency and focus on clinical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate clients' trauma histories to tailor appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, assisting clients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed approach in high-stress situations.
\n
• Educate clients and families on trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and support.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with best practices.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives centered on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure top-notch care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid LCPC licensure in the state of Maryland.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to enhance patient care.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma or crisis intervention.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and skills to support the mental health needs of various clients, including couples.

• Self-guided determination to complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of sessions.

• Demonstrate strong values such as integrity, honesty, and adaptability in providing quality care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is competitive, with annual compensation between USD 70,000 and 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer guaranteed pay with annual increases, bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.
