Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document medical histories to make accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
• Collaborate with fellow physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, quality care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Perform thorough physical examinations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and interpret results to guide healthcare decisions.
• Administer vaccinations and prescribe medications as indicated, and provide patients with education on preventive health measures and lifestyle changes.
• Oversee the management of chronic health conditions, ensuring timely and appropriate referrals to specialists when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters through the EPIC EMR system to enhance continuity of care.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at promoting better health outcomes while staying current with medical advancements.
• Create patient-centered relationships, delivering compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards throughout all aspects of medical practice, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The practice primarily focuses on serving a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adults, and elderly individuals. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Possess current Physician Assistant certification and a valid state license.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in a family practice or comparable setting.

• Experience using the EPIC EMR system is preferred to facilitate efficient documentation and care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
