Work Environment

The FNP will work primarily in our hospital setting, where they will benefit from the latest medical technologies and a supportive team environment. The regular schedule consists of weekdays with dedicated hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., alongside rotating weekend coverage. We recognize the importance of work-life balance and, therefore, offer two weekdays off following weekend duties, allowing for adequate time to recharge.

Key Responsibilities

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be entrusted with a range of critical responsibilities including:

• Conducting comprehensive history and physical exams for each new patient admission, facilitating accurate assessments and personalized care plans.
• Prescribing medications and managing treatment regimens for patients upon admission and throughout their healthcare journey.
• Overseeing medical stabilization for patients requiring additional intervention, coordinating with the healthcare team for timely transfers as necessary.
• Providing educational resources and counseling for patients and their families, equipping them with valuable information regarding health conditions and treatment options.
• Supporting the healthcare team through collaborative communication, contributing to multidisciplinary discussions that promote effective patient outcomes.

Qualifications

To successfully fulfill the role of Family Nurse Practitioner, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, qualifying as a clinical Nurse Practitioner.
• Active certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in a primary care specialty (e.g., FNP, WHNP).
• Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Florida or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated competence in managing both outpatient and inpatient settings, enhancing our continuum of care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to employment commencement; training can be arranged if needed.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Family Nurse Practitioner position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, our organization provides:
