Key Responsibilities

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including detailed assessments that inform customized treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement equitable treatment protocols based on individual evaluation findings, adhering to the latest evidence-based practices.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative consultations with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care through shared insights.
• Provide thorough discharge planning, ensuring patients understand their recovery plans and follow-up procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress, adhering to regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population includes athletes, active adults, and individuals seeking rehabilitation post-injury. Providing comprehensive care that addresses both physical and emotional challenges, our therapists build strong therapeutic alliances with patients, ensuring trust and engagement throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida and current CPR certification are essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits
