Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, particularly Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), assisting clients in achieving stress reduction, relaxation, and personal empowerment.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their individual needs.

• Facilitate individual and group mindfulness sessions, incorporating meditation, breathing techniques, and mindfulness exercises to enhance clients' self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Develop, conduct, and lead workshops focusing on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building for both individual clients and group settings.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, progress, and mindfulness interventions, adhering to established ethical guidelines and best practices in mental health care.

• Engage in regular professional development by exploring new mindfulness techniques and strategies for effective integration into therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
