Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique needs, employing a variety of assessment tools when appropriate.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering a sense of community and shared learning among participants.

• Work in close collaboration with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's mental health.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, demonstrating empathy and sound clinical judgment in emergency situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources that can enhance their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards for mental health documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults dealing with a range of mental health challenges, aiming to navigate their journeys toward healing and recovery. Our clientele is diverse, representing various cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds, providing an enriching experience that enhances cultural competence and sensitivity in practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, obtained from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, with a focus on evidenced-based approaches.

• Proven abilities in performing comprehensive mental health evaluations and formulating effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience providing individual and group therapy, especially with a diverse patient population.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to establish rapport and trust with clients.

• Commitment to professional ethics and boundaries, sound judgment, and cultural competence.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating on patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar mental health counseling role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
