Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be entrusted with:

• Managing a caseload of clients, with a strong emphasis on building rapport and maintaining ethical boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions to assess client progress and stability, discussing future appointments, and determining discharge when appropriate.

• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, monitoring their effectiveness over time.

• Maintaining comprehensive documentation and progress notes in compliance with clinic standards.
\n
• Performing intake assessments to understand client backgrounds and mental health histories.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis.

• Engaging in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and professional development.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are essential for the successful candidate:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Ability to meet all internal credentialing requirements for the clinic.

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and providing both individual and group therapy.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
