Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of cardiology conditions, utilizing diagnostic tests and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide detailed patient education regarding preventative strategies, management of heart conditions, and lifestyle modifications to promote cardiovascular health.
• Monitor patients’ progress in response to treatment and adjust plans as necessary, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
• Foster partnerships with patients and their families, ensuring they understand their health conditions and treatment options, thus promoting active participation in their care.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in cardiology to provide cutting-edge care and integrate evidence-based practices into your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals of various ages and medical histories, all possessing unique cardiovascular needs. Your expertise will allow you to address both acute and chronic conditions, advising on preventive care while meeting the specific lifestyle needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in cardiology or from a Family Nurse Practitioner program with cardiology coursework.
• Certification as a Cardiology Certified Nurse Practitioner (CCNP) through the Cardiology Nursing Certification Board (CNBC) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in cardiology, primary care, or closely related fields.
• Exceptional clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment focused on shared patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a school-based healthcare setting or similar environments is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $150,000 to $160,000 annually, with the final salary based on experience and performance. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
