Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day duties will involve: Providing clinical services such as conducting assessments and developing personalized, recovery-oriented treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client. Regularly evaluating clients’ treatment progress and adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to support their mental health journey. Collaborating with clients to enhance essential coping, problem-solving, and communication skills, ultimately empowering them to lead healthier lives. Educating clients on community resources and acting as a relentless advocate to connect them with additional support services. Monitoring client symptoms and developing strategies that foster behavioral health, including anger management and daily living skills. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will primarily focus on adults aged 18 and over who face challenges stemming from mental health issues. By providing targeted interventions and advocacy, you will play a pivotal role in their recovery process, ensuring they achieve greater independence and integration into their communities. Qualifications To be eligible for this position, you will need: A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. A current state board license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD). The capacity to practice independently, ensuring no supervisory oversight is required. To be free of any disciplinary actions on your license, reflecting a commitment to ethical practice. Proficiency in technology that supports client interaction, with a reliable internet connection to facilitate telehealth services. Preferred Experience We value candidates with hands-on experience in providing direct clinical services.
