Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health evaluations through virtual consultations, ensuring an empathetic approach throughout the assessment process.

• Develop personalized treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on thorough evaluations and evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using telehealth methods, adapting techniques to suit the online format while maintaining engagement and support.

• Monitor and record client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to fit the evolving needs and goals of each client.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, presenting various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction. It is essential to be culturally competent and sensitive to the unique needs and backgrounds of our clients, creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counseling Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions.

• Strong understanding of both physical and emotional health conditions and their implications for mental health treatment.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills that allow for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.

• Adeptness in therapeutic modalities aligned with best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor, providing therapy to various populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
