Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and identify personalized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and psychological well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to process their trauma while developing effective coping techniques.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for our clients, addressing their diverse needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing a calm demeanor to ensure client safety.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and support systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in trauma therapy to incorporate best practices into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily comprises individuals grappling with the effects of trauma, including survivors of abuse, veterans, and individuals facing life-altering events. You will work closely with clients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders, offering therapeutic support tailored to their unique circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, specifically in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
