Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing an advanced telehealth platform that facilitates seamless communication between counselors and patients. Our virtual setting allows flexibility in scheduling, primarily during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, some adaptability may be required to meet the diverse needs of our patients. As a result, our counselors are expected to maintain an organized workspace equipped with the necessary technology to provide uninterrupted services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psycho-social assessments to accurately identify patient needs and create tailored treatment plans that reflect best practices in mental health care.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and other relevant modalities.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment that encourages open dialogue and personal growth among participants.

• Develop and lead psychoeducational workshops aimed at enhancing patient understanding of mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Offer timely crisis intervention services, effectively managing acute situations to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients on available community resources and support networks to aid in their overall recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse patient population facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. We prioritize creating individualized treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and responsive to the specific circumstances of each patient, enabling them to journey towards improved mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the state of California.

• Extensive knowledge of a broad spectrum of mental health disorders and demonstrated experience with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective therapeutic and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
