Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ mental health challenges and resources.
• Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that clearly define therapeutic goals and appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure continuity of care for clients.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that enhance therapeutic engagement and promote peer support among clients.
• Offer crisis intervention, conduct risk assessments, and devise safety plans as necessary to maintain client well-being.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all therapy sessions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Colorado.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, although candidates with strong clinical training and internships may also be considered.
