Key Responsibilities\n

• Plan, coordinate, and implement support programs that effectively address the diverse needs of students struggling with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with students to assess their current condition and identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement, drawing on evidence-based social work theories.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and measurable, ensuring each student receives a tailored approach to their unique situations.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
\n
• Provide students and their families with insightful information about proper coping strategies and resources available to them during counseling sessions.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, as well as provide reports on students’ progress and case status to relevant stakeholders.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute valuable recommendations and evidence during case conferences and, when required, in court.
\n
• Act as a primary point of contact for students, liaising with educators, families, and community services to ensure effective referrals for additional support as needed.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, or Sociology from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Kansas.

• Demonstrated experience as a Social Worker, with a strong understanding of social work theories and methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish empathetic relationships with clients and their families.

• Proficiency in assessing complex situations and developing appropriate interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
