Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each student’s specific goals and therapeutic needs.
\n
• Engage in collaboration with school staff and external mental health professionals to create a supportive network around clients.
\n
• Provide timely crisis intervention, perform risk assessments, and develop proactive safety plans as necessary for the well-being of at-risk students.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that empower students and their families with coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with a diverse population of students facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Each interaction will aim to help them navigate their emotions, enhance their coping skills, and improve their academic performance. By recognizing the unique context of each client’s background and experiences, you will tailor your therapeutic approach to best suit their individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, with a demonstrated commitment to working with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
