Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while being a vital part of our outpatient clinic team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to understand each client's unique situation, followed by the creation of personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, focusing on open communication and guideline adherence.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused Therapy to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention support when necessary, developing quick and effective strategies for clients in distress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive approaches to client care, reinforcing the principle that treatment is best provided through teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with New York state regulations, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Participate actively in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing educational opportunities to remain at the forefront of best practices in therapy and mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work closely with a diverse population, including individuals facing mental health issues, couples navigating relationship difficulties, and families seeking to improve communication and resolve conflicts. Qualifications

• An active LMFT license in New York, maintaining good standing according to state regulations.

Compensation and Benefits
