Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess patient needs and strengths by evaluating their biopsychosocial background, and develop individualized treatment plans that promote symptom resolution and improved functioning.

• Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet clinical appropriateness for each context.
\n
• Collaborate with the psychiatry team to engage in program planning, which includes offering insights and recommendations for the ongoing care of patients within the program.
\n
• Serve as either a primary therapist or co-therapist in various therapeutic settings, and actively participate in group therapy sessions with psychiatric patients.
\n
• Ensure the collection of pertinent clinical data complies with program standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining robust patient records in our EMR system.
\n
• Maintain ethical standards in line with agency policies and applicable state regulations, providing guidance and support to both patients and fellow professionals.
\n
• Engage with both outpatient and inpatient teams to provide crisis intervention and triage evaluation as needed, ensuring that all patient needs are met with prompt and effective responses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse client base, including individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. You will bring empathy and understanding to each interaction, adapting your approach to resonate with the unique backgrounds and experiences of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• At least two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or medical setting.

• Comprehensive knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to the practice of counseling.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating strong rapport-building with a diverse clientele.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team, demonstrating professionalism and cooperation.

• Proficiency in using EMR software and related technologies to ensure accurate documentation and efficient operations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
