Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health, including their emotional, social, and behavioral functioning to develop an accurate understanding of their needs.

• Create and implement individualized, culturally competent, and evidence-based treatment plans that address conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

• Provide psychotherapy in both individual and group settings, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to best support patient recovery.

• Engage in regular coordination with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other social workers to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring timely adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback from patients and multidisciplinary team members.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources, fostering an understanding of the healing journey ahead.

• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including maintaining confidentiality and obtaining informed consent in accordance with state licensure requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LICSW role is particularly focused on patients within the hospice setting, dealing with chronic illnesses and end-of-life issues. Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in hospice, palliative care, or telehealth settings is considered a valuable asset for candidates. Familiarity with community resources and support systems within Tacoma, Washington, is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
