Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling you to engage with clients in the comfort of their homes while utilizing telehealth capabilities. However, you will also have the opportunity to interact with patients in our outpatient office setting when needed. Our work hours are from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to meet the demands of our patient population.

  Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to individual patient circumstances.

  Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for optimal treatment success.

  Deliver immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and support.

  Educate patients on the interplay between their mental health and physical conditions, empowering them to manage their overall health effectively.

  Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.

  Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and regular care planning sessions to stay aligned with patient goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with patients who have complex medical and psychiatric conditions, including chronic pain syndromes, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. Our patients often present with difficulties that require a multifaceted approach to care, allowing you to make a significant impact on their recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

  A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

  Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

  Proven ability to address the mental health needs of clients with co-occurring medical conditions.

  Demonstrated experience in delivering integrated care and collaborating with medical professionals.

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with both patients and colleagues.

  A high degree of professionalism, adherence to ethical standards, and commitment to patient confidentiality.

  Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to use various computer applications effectively.

  Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.

Preferred Experience\n

At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within an integrated care setting. A background in treating patients with medical complexities is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
